Our Story
Born from a vision for change
WISE (We Inspire Sustainability Excellence) is a Greek consulting company specializing in sustainable development, energy efficiency, and international environmental building certifications. It was founded by professionals with extensive experience in studies, project management, and technical support, who have participated in some of the most significant sustainable projects in Greece and abroad. The team consists of certified engineers with high technical expertise and deep knowledge of modern standards in sustainable construction, energy, commissioning, and life cycle analysis.

Maria Malisianou
Co-founder | Chief Sustainability OfficerMaria Malisianou is a certified sustainable building consultant (LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP O+M, WELL AP, EDGE expert), a Civil and Mechanical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, and completed a postgraduate program in 'Design and Construction of Underground Works'.Since 2016, she has taken on roles in technical coordination and consulting for environmental project certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.), covering a wide range of uses (office buildings, hotel complexes, logistics). In recent years, she has been actively involved in monitoring, shaping, and developing corporate ESG strategies.She also has significant experience in mechanical studies for power generation projects (power plants) in Greece and abroad.
Dimitris Romanas
Co-founder | Head of Energy Efficiency & Technical ServicesDimitris Romanas, a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Thessaly with a specialization in energy, also completed postgraduate studies in Energy Engineering (M.Sc. in Energietechnik) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany.He has extensive experience in energy engineering, design and supervision of electromechanical projects, as well as in managing energy performance of building facilities in Greece and abroad.He has worked extensively on energy studies and audits, technical support for sustainable building certifications (LEED, DGNB), Commissioning (CxA), and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).
